Version 1 · 18 October 2026. These terms apply to this website, Dr. Hoffman's courses, the members area, the community, live sessions, our apps and our emails (together, "the Services"). The Services are provided by 2536671 Alberta Ltd ("we", "us"). By buying a course, creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these terms. Please read the first section carefully.
Everything in the Services is for education and information only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, it is not the practice of medicine, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional who knows your history.
Buying or watching a course, joining the community, asking a question in a live session, or messaging or emailing us does not create a doctor-patient relationship with Dr. Hoffman or anyone on our team. Dr. Hoffman also does a handful of one-to-one consultations to provide general education; these are not medical care either and do not create a doctor-patient relationship.
Answers given in live sessions, the community, direct messages or email are general and educational. They are not advice about your own case and may not apply to you. Please don't ask for, or rely on, individual advice about your symptoms, test results, medications or doses. Don't post information that identifies you or anyone else's health. We may edit or remove posts and limit access to keep the community safe and on topic.
Talk to your own qualified practitioner before you start, stop or change any medication, supplement, diet, test or treatment, and before acting on anything you learn here. Never ignore professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something in the Services.
If you think you may have a medical emergency, including a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis), call 911 or your local emergency number, or go to the nearest emergency department. Never use the courses, the community, live sessions, messages or email for urgent or emergency problems.
The Services support, and do not replace, your own clinical judgment. You remain solely responsible for the care of your patients and must practise within your own licence, scope of practice and local law. Any case you share must be fully de-identified.
Some approaches discussed in the Services, including mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) protocols, chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS) and the 7 Stages model, are emerging areas and are not established standard of care. Medical knowledge changes, information can become out of date, and people's results vary. We do not promise or guarantee any health outcome.
Dr. Hoffman is a physician licensed in South Africa. He is not licensed to practise medicine in Alberta and does not practise medicine in Alberta. Nothing in the Services is a medical service, wherever you live.
Dr. Hoffman is paid as a consultant by BodyBio, a company that makes supplements and fatty-acid tests that come up in some of our courses, articles and recipes. Some links we share are partner links, and we may earn from them. If a course mentions any other product, test or laboratory in which Dr. Hoffman or we have a financial interest, we will say so where it is mentioned. Mentioning a product is not a recommendation that it is right for you.
You must be 18 or older. Your course access is personal: please don't share your login or copy, record, resell or publicly post course videos, slides or materials. All course content belongs to us or our licensors. You keep ownership of what you post in the community, and you give us permission to show it to other members there.
Prices, payment plans and any refund terms are shown on the page where you buy. If you pay in instalments, you agree to the remaining payments shown at checkout. If a payment fails, access may be paused until it is paid.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you use the Services at your own risk, and we are not liable for any decision you make or action you take based on them. Where the law allows us to limit liability, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived, including the laws of Quebec, Ontario and other provinces and of US states.
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, except where the consumer protection laws of the place you live give you the right to rely on them and their courts.
How we handle your personal information, including anything you tell us about your health, is described in our Privacy Policy. We never use your answers about your health for advertising.
We may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change, we will show you the new version and ask you to agree again before you continue using the members area or apps. The version number and date are at the top of this page.
